AxFlow makes Danish acquisition

AxFlow has acquired Pumpegruppen A/S, a Danish pump supplier to the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries and for water treatment and basic industrial applications.

Pumpegruppen is a full-service pump specialist representing brands including Grundfos, Wilden, FTI and Speck. The firm is headquartered in Lyngby, 10 km north of Copenhagen, and has one other base in Rønde in Jutland.
“The acquisition of Pumpegruppen is well-aligned with our group strategy to expand the product and repair offering in Denmark. Pumpegruppen has a strong buyer base and a sound progress potential,” mentioned Søren Weihrauch, CEO of AxFlow A/S.
Under the management of CEO and former owner Erling Olsen, Pumpegruppen will proceed to operate underneath its present name while being a half of the AxFlow Group.
