Headquartered in Wangen within the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly within the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics purposes.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing facilities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a world sales and service footprint. The firm employs 265 people and had 2020 revenues of roughly €46.4 million.

This acquisition will create a stable basis for additional growth in new industrial pump segments.”
The acquired business will become a half of the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is predicted to be completed during the second quarter of 2022 and is subject to regulatory approvals.
